Happy Birthday Logan…..

Today Logan is nine…

I am fine…I am as any other mother would be, happy and thoughtful…and living in the past..each hour as the day proceeds, I remember……the day he was born…

I look at him today and am happy to see his face shining and growing toward the ever certainty of adulthood..

He is such an amazing child…a soft hard with strong convictions…

A loving mind with high expectations….

Each year he has been with me I have grown stronger…

Each day he stands by my side I am able…

Each time I touch his face with my hand….

I remember….

the day he looked at me..straight from my gut…..and said with his eyes “Hi, my name is Logan”.

He is so certain he is Logan I believe him, I watch him closely and let him decide…his next move day after day…moment by moment…

not only what he wants from the world, but what he is willing and interested in taking…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dear, my ROCK…you are what gets me through the day when I need to understand the day is worth getting through.

Carrying on darling and grow into the MAN you came into this world already knowing…YOU WERE MEANT TO BE

I am a self taught photographer and mixed media artist with a degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts in classical theatre performance. Stage was my first love and brought me into the world art while photography is what made me want to stay. I am married to superman, and am the mother of three little super-ducks. I studied creative writing at the Univeristy of Tn and classical drama at the NC School of the Arts, and a Masters in Education with concentration of inclusion and curriculum. I've liived in NYC and LA for the past decade and moved back to TN for some home cooking and back yard fun . I spend most of my days getting little ones through life and playing in my studio. I sell my work through different venues and am really happy where I find myself these days. I love to drink a bottle of wine (with my hubby) coupled with extra cheddar blast goldfish! Having kids has changed my life, the arts has shaped my life, and my soulmate continues everyday to walk through my life beside me. What else could a country city girl like me need.
